Pricing FAQ
▾Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days, no credit card. You can use every feature during the trial. We'll remind you a few days before it ends.
▾What happens when the trial ends?
Reads stay available so nothing disappears. Writes (adding duties, claiming coverage, etc.) pause until an admin starts the subscription. A grace period applies if a payment fails.
▾Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the in-app billing portal. You keep access until the end of the billing period — no partial refunds.
▾Do you offer district pricing?
Yes — if you're rolling CoverMate out across multiple schools, email colton@covermate.app and we'll set you up.
▾What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards, processed by Stripe. We also support payment by check or ACH against a purchase order — start your free trial, then admins can request a PO/invoice from Settings → Billing. Stripe will email a hosted invoice to your district's billing contact with a PO number and net-30 terms.
▾Do you support purchase orders (POs)?
Yes — common for K-12. Inside the app, admins go to Settings → Billing → 'Pay by purchase order / invoice', enter your district's billing email and PO number, and we send a Stripe invoice with net-30 terms. Your school stays active for one full year from the invoice issue date.
